Beer Can Island is a local favorite and a hidden gem just south of Anna Maria Island. The laid back beach is known for its beautiful Gulf views, driftwood, shallow sandbars, and soft white sand. Because Beer Can Island is primarily accessed by boat, it's a great stop during a private Anna Maria Island boat tour. Jewfish Key
Jewfish Key is a beautiful island and sandbars located between Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key. The area is also known for its abundant marine and bird life, making it a great place to slow down and take in the natural side of Anna Maria Island.
